Chief of Claims Management (CEA)
The Chief of Claims Management provides executive leadership and strategic oversight of the Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF), Uninsured Employers Benefits Trust Fund (UEBTF), Return-to-Work Supplement Program (RTWSP), and the Audit & Enforcement Unit.
The position is responsible for ensuring statutory compliance and fiscal solvency; authorizing high-value claim settlements and fund disbursements; directing legislative and regulatory modernization efforts; representing the Division of Workers’ Compensation before state agencies and stakeholders; and serving as the final escalation point for the most complex claims and audit matters.
Public speaking, attendance at conferences, and travel are required. The position requires a minimum of four days per week in the office and travel throughout California.
