The City of Newman, California in Stanislas County seeks qualified applicants to serve as its next City Manager. This talented professional will be an effective hands-on manager for a staff of 49 and a total budget of $27 million. Ideally, the top candidate will be a generalist complemented by a strong working knowledge of community development and finance. The previous City Manager announced his retirement after 24 years with the City and 20 years serving as the City Manager, which created this unique opportunity to lead and manage in a collaborative environment.
The annual salary range for the incoming City Manager is up to $228,000 and is dependent upon qualifications. The City also offers a highly competitive benefit package that includes CalPERS retirement, health/vision/dental insurance, sick leave, vacation time, and administrative leave in addition to paid holidays.
