This position leads environmental review and compliance efforts, oversees land use planning initiatives, manages stakeholders and public outreach, coordinates with regulatory agencies and project teams, supervises staff, and supports major airport development projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing National Environmental Policy Act and California Environmental Quality Act documentation, implementing airport land use plans, managing FAA land inventory activities, overseeing consultant contracts, and ensuring projects progress efficiently while meeting regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Four years of full-time paid experience in aviation or airport related planning at the level of Planning Assistant with the City of Los Angeles; or Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Aviation Management, Airport Planning, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field; and four years of full-time paid professional experience in aviation or airport planning.
